The Fragility of Life . . . A Homecoming
I didn't know Amy Wilhoite. I prayed for her regularly, as many of you did. She went home to meet Jesus yesterday afternoon. What rejoicing there must be at her homecoming!!
Amy was an inspiration to many, myself included.
Please go here and let her husband know you will be praying for him.
None of us are guaranteed tomorrow. Hug your loved ones a little tighter today. I know I will.

such sadness for them, such rejoicing for her - where we want to be...
still praying...
I think you have so beautifully expressed what all of us who have been praying for Amy are feeling right now. Thank God we have that blessed hope.
Peach- I was telling my husband Amy's story last night and I was trying to put into words how her death made me feel. Your post title is perfect-- The Fragility of Life... A Homecoming. Well put because I was made aware that life is fragile but it is incredible to have the assurance or our Homecoming.
Absolutely, Peach. I followed Amy from the beginning and she was an inspiration. It's so sad. I'm so sorry she lost her battle but at the same time, I'm glad her suffering is over. My whole family knew Amy's story. It's almost like losing a personal friend.
